of the Shadows’ music!
Between
1990 and 2004 The Shadows did not exist as a group. The Cliff Richard
and the Shadows Club Germany wants to keep this music alive, offering
all fans the chance to meet others.
The club organizes regular
meetings and publishes a bi-monthly magazine. Several Shadows cover
bands are club-members. At the meetings you can listen to the songs of
the Shadows being played live by our cover bands.
The
ShadowsMusicConvention is an event especially for friends of
instrumental and most of all Shadows music. Several bands perform, in
an adjourning room there are records, cds, videos, books, guitars and
accessories on sale. This event which always takes place in
October is meant to give fans of instrumental music the rare
opportunity to listen to their favourite music being played live and to
talk to like-minded people and musicians. Different band from all over
Europe and also solo artists perform at the event. In addition an
ex-Shadows-member attends each year as special guest.
The
ShadowsMusicConvention always takes place at the hotel Niedersachsenhof
in Verden (around 35 km south-east of Bremen). The hotel is fully
booked for this year’s event, but there are plenty of other hotels in

Zwischen
1990 und 2004 gab es die Shadows nicht als Gruppe. Um aber die Musik
weiter am Leben zu erhalten und allen Freunden dieser Musik ein Forum
zu geben, gibt es den Cliff Richard and the Shadows Club Germany.
Der
Club publiziert alle zwei Monate das Magazin Reflections, führt
regelmäßig die Shadows-MusicConvention durch, und hat in seinen Reihen
etliche Shadows-Cover-Bands. Bei unseren Veranstaltungen könnt Ihr die
Songs der Shadows, sowie andere berühmte Instrumentals wieder live
erleben, interpretiert von Cover-Bands aus ganz Europa.
Die
ShadowsMusicConvention ist eine Veranstaltung für Freunde der
Instrumental-, besonders der Shadows-Musik. Es treten immer
verschiedene Coverbands auf, mehrere Händler bieten Platten, CDs,
Videos, Bücher, Gitarren und Zubehör an. Diese Veranstaltung, die jedes
Jahr im Oktober stattfindet, soll den Instrumental-Fans die seltene
Gelegenheit geben, ihre Lieblingsmusik live zu hören und einfach mit
Gleichgesinnten und Musikern zu plaudern. Die unterschiedlichsten Bands
aus ganz Europa sowie auch Solokünstler treten bei den Events auf. Als
“special guest“ ist auch jedesmal ein Ex-Shadows-Mitglied dabei.
Der
Veranstaltungort ist immer das Hotel “Niedersachsenhof” in 27283 Verden
/ Aller (ca. 35 km südöstlich von Bremen entfernt). Die Hotelzimmer
sind schon für die kommende Veranstaltung ausgebucht. Im Ort gibt es
